Well I've been in a bit of a creative rut lately. Pulling ideas out of my ass only works for so long. Also been running into some trouble. Maybe I'm just too tired. A bit of explanation as the journal progresses. FIRST. New journal CSS (sort of) really just switching things about, new colors and a floated image that you've obviously seen by now (or maybe you're blind, and this is being read to you, I have no idea). Anyways, I made a crappy little Web 2.0 style floated image here and it takes up a lot of space. SO everything shifted to the right and it's floated to the left. Also, everything is green now. I recently adjusted my computer theme settings to make everything sort of green to match something I had on-screen (which is now gone) and so I wanted my journal to match. It's hot rite? It's probably just annoying. I hope this isn't too difficult to read. Well whatevers, I'll screw with it when I have the time. Meh.

So anyways. Been studying AS3 on and off (and by on and off I mean once a week for 15 minutes) and I've been messing about with that. I'm making headway at least. Maybe something in it soon. Probably not. If I did do something in it, it'd be something small and not really substantial. Anyhoo. Been drawing and sketching and TRYING to get some sort of creative spark going, but to no avail. SO I decided to play some Half Life 2 to try and get something triggered in the process. And all I got was pissed because I'm stuck in the level after Nova Prospekt with one hit point and there's no health anywhere. And I'm at a portion where you go up against like ten combine soldiers at once. SO here I am all "OW YOU SCRATCHED ME, OH NOES I AM DEAD x_x LOL" and all my autosaves and quicksaves are apparently from an hour or two beforehand so I can't really backtrack without going through Nova Prospekt all over again.

My point is, I've not got any arts goin on so what evs.

In other news, and probably indirectly responsible for me having a block, I've got to move soon. Due to financial difficulties we can't really live where we are now. So we've been boxing shit up and moving things and throwing things away and I've been getting little sleep on the side. Partially because of the moving thing but also partially because my circadian rhythm has been tampered with by caffeine and vidya gaems. But we'll be moving above a bar which means I'll be getting plenty of time to play some billiards (hellz yes) and we'll always have a place to eat food right there. Plus, I won't ever have to mow the grass again.

As for internets, I'll be out of luck for a week or two while we set up with a new ISP since our current doesn't cover over there. We'll be switching to Windstream, which is apparently Alltel. Has a better connection speed than our current so we'll be moving up which is another plus. Actually there's not many downsides to this move aside from a) not as much space and b) I'll be farther away from where I take/get off the bus to/from college. But I'm sure I'll work out something.

Hm.. didn't expect to write so much crap. You guys probably won't read all that. Bigger update than I thought.


NOTE:

When it comes to #Flashers competitions, I won't be doing any for a few weeks due to this whole moving thing. So you'll have to hit up fatman, age or bowman or somebody if you want one. IF, that is, BOWMAN EVER GETS AROUND TO HOSTING ONE.
